In April of 2015, Pura Vida Tequila Founder and CEO, Stewart Skloss, called and said he needed help to purchase a tequila refinery in Mexico. I jokingly told Stewart, “Well, I have a little bit of money but not enough to buy a refinery” to which he replied, “That’s why I need you to help build an Indiegogo campaign to raise money.” I told him I had never done anything like that but count me in.
