His work has won its fair share of praise and awards along the way culminating with the coveted Silver Medal Award presented by the American Advertising Federation in recognition of his outstanding contributions to advertising.

Truth be told, Lou Congelio is one of the most prolific and highly decorated creative talents in the Houston advertising community. Lou has established himself as a leader in creating exciting, attention-getting, sales-generating, award-winning advertising that gets results.

His client list is a veritable Whos Who” of Fortune 500 companies.

As Chairman of AAF-Houston, Lou sought to unite the ad community by making the ad club more relevant and beneficial to its members. An outgrowth of this mission sprang Only in Houston, a division of AAF-Houston formed to celebrate and promote the creative talent that lives within our city.

Lou has also served on the Marketing Committee for the Greater Houston Partnership and is currently executive director of the Just Ask Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of Neurofibromatosis, a disorder close to Congelio’s heart,

Today, Lou is very much engaged in a new creative venture where he is able to tap into his many years of experience and knowledge and apply them to companies and clients in need of a little assistance. And, a lot of results.

Lou has returned to his roots as writer and creative director for his new collaborative endeavor, Acme Fish. The world just got interesting again.
